hoppy easter!

i love love love easter.
how could you not though?
i love the idea of new beginnings.
after our crummy month, easter came at the perfect time to get our minds focused
on the most important things in life, and what good things we have ahead.

we had a little easter egg dye-ing party with our favorite friends
and a wonderful visit from one of my best friends from san francisco.
i wish she lived here!!!

i got to do my sister in law lucy's makeup for her jr. prom on saturday.
she looked seriously amazing.
and her darling boyfriend eli. i was dying!
this was my favorite photo i snapped. it captures them so well. smiles all around.

ralph's easter egg basket!
i filled it up with all things he loves (aka. anything made of 100% sugar)
and a little note from me

we woke up easter morning and headed to ralph's parents for a delicious
easter breakfast, egg hunt and egg rolling contest.
his mom is unreal! i wish i took more picture that morning, but it was too fun!

the annual barth family easter egg hunt and dinner in my parents backyard
is one of my most favorite traditions. we have done it my whole life!
both sides of our family unite for a very intense easter egg hunt and a delicious meal.

these fresh blooms from our yard were gorgeous!

caroline came down from logan and spent the weekend with us.
i hate that she doesn't live 5 minutes away from me, so we sort of abandon our husbands
when we are with each other so we can soak up every second.

my mom's darling easter decor every where you turn.

my brother bear! i love him so.
(check out that beard! impressive scoots.)

there are some good lookin' boys in the barth family that's for sure

my favorite doggy!!

can you believe these three girls are all my cousins and we
are all the same age?! we have grown up together and
i feel like the luckiest to actually love and truly call my family my best friends.

biggest group of "kids" on the hunt!

the loot! ralph and i scraped up $25 combined from the hunt.
not gonna lie, this hunt is no mercy.

so happy to have such a wonderful holiday spent with everyone i love.
it was such a refreshing weekend to remind me how truly blessed and lucky i am.
now on to the finals/graduation/birthday/moving craziness!
