christmas time in the city.

oh, new york!
i love you

i have always loved visiting, but now more than ever, that big city has a sweet spot in my little heart.

being in new york only days before christmas was something i had always
wanted to do...such a dream! i pretty much packed for antarctica...
but a coat, scarf, and hot chocolate were sufficient.
lucky us!

rockefeller center, you magical place, you

couldn't stop staring at my future husband (!!!)

the happiest, most love struck girl roaming manhattan

grimaldi's / spent the whole meal just admiring my sparkly ring

and then I drank soda for ralph. he was proud.

hello, ralphie!

waiting for the subway in brooklyn

brooklyn bridge / on a dreamy, rainy day

me & my soldier friend in FAO schwartz

as well as my elephant-sized dog friend

top of the empire state building

hot chocolate was a staple

the rockettes were amazing, our christmas spirit was bursting at this point.
to the point of embarrassing ourselves on the subway singing christmas songs.
(we might have taken the ending scene of elf a little too seriously...)

supplying my candy-loving heart

came home to our cute families who helped us celebrate

and received the most delicious cake from ralph's darling aunt sara,
which was basically wedding cake worthy.

until next time new york...
thanks for the perfect trip with my sweetheart.
i get so cheesy when i think about it...!
