november

november was such a beautiful month here in new york. it was so warm, and full of fun visitors in town. hints of the holidays were popping up all over the city, and it made me so happy! there is no better time of year!

cereal milk from the momofuku milk bar is one of my favorite dessert spots. it tastes like the milk at the bottom of your sugar cereal bowl, sprinkled with a salty cornflake crunch. YUP. so good.

my girl kate came in town and it was SO FUN. i love this girl so much. we had a blast eating, shopping, and wandering the city.

more beautiful mornings walking with ralph to work. best part of the day.

i've made it a goal to make at least one pie every november. i made the pumpkin pie recipe from barefoot contessa and felt so fancy zesting oranges for the filling.

on a sunday walk with ralph, we passed this little place and i couldn't get over it. the most charming little entrance to such a beautiful brownstone.

a baby shower for darling lauren before her baby girl nora came!

THE BEST. emily, chase, and baby reagan came all the way from san francisco for a few days and i was in heaven! i was spoiled by THEM even though they were the ones visiting! with a day spent at google getting a personal tour from chase, eating the delicious food and scootering around the huge office. it was amazing! i hate living across the country from them.

the views from the google office were incredible!

miss this beauty already.

the night of the election, i walked out of work in rockefeller plaza to a huge party thrown by NBC to watch the results come in. it was really cool to be in the center of it all, only a few blocks from the nominees who were also watching the numbers roll in. what a crazy night!

just me...watching alone...(lol) it was only so long until i got tired and hungry and went home to watch the results from my bed ;)

babysat the darling hadley smith. she is the cutest little thing.

my brother and sister in law and nephew were in town! it was the best being with them. hansie was such a little independent new yorker, wanting to walk everywhere by himself!

at anthropologie, we closed the store early the night the rockefeller tree was being lit. it was crazy!! so so busy, but we got a front row view from the windows (and tourist free!)

such a fun night!

fun breakfast at maison kayser with my friend maddie who was in town!

november in new york is tough to beat.
